A former Box Office Manager (Theatre Royal, Brighton) and Ticket Operations Manager (Goodwood) I have worked extensively in a ticketing and live events environment for the majority of my career. I also previously worked at American Express in Brighton for 12 years whereby I set up their in-house box office department and sourced ticketing allocations for theatre shows, concerts, sporting events such as Wimbledon and Premier League football matches for their cardmembers to enjoy. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic from March 2020, I was sadly made redundant from Goodwood, and with all live events and shows on-hold for the majority of the pandemic, I began to look for a new challenge. Due to my experience as an Ops Manager, I was quickly recruited by the NHS to run three Mass Vaccination Centres, whereby we vaccinated over 3000 members of the General Public per day, every day! I now work for an NHS Trust full time, setting up small Flu clinics across Sussex from July – March each year, offering free Flu vaccinations to all Trust staff. I really enjoy the challenge and reward of working within the NHS, but I sincerely miss the theatre and working on live events, and so I volunteered to review theatre shows in my spare time to recapture my passion for theatre and to encourage more people to go!
