Apollo Theatre London Tickets

The Apollo Theatre was opened one month after Queen Victoria had died in 1901 making it the first West End theatre of the Edwardian age. The auditorium was renovated substantially in 1932. It is suggested that the balcony is the steepest in London so be warned!

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

“Well, that was different,” was the exit poll verdict of a fellow theatregoer as we filed out of the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue. There are aspects of familiarity within Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, however. Jack O'Connell (Brick) and Sienna Miller (Maggie)- Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - Photographer credit Johan Persson

Let’s just say the production photos are a true reflection of what the audience sees in this production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. This being a Tennessee Williams play, there’s a metaphor in pretty much everything, and in particular, as soon as the curtain rises, one in Brick (Jack O’Connell) being – well, exposed. Oh, look!
