The cast and company of the West End and Broadway musical sensation WICKED are once again aiming to raise thousands of pounds to boost the Woodland Trust’s tree planting initiatives. 2018 marks the eighth year of a partnership between the award-winning musical and the charity. The Apollo Theatre is a historic theatre located in the heart of London's theatre district. It first opened its doors in 1901 and has since been the home of many famous productions and performers.
The Apollo theatre is known for its stunning art nouveau design and was built in a horseshoe shape to provide excellent views from every seat. It has a seating capacity of 775, making it one of the smaller theatres in theatreland.
Some of the most famous productions to have been staged at the Apollo Theatre include "The Sound of Music," "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," and "Everybody's Talking About Jamie."
