Grab onto her golden, sequined coat tails and hold tight because you’re about to enter the wonderfully chaotic world of Miss Behave in Miss Behave’s Game Show, the greatest night out you never even knew you wanted. Hot from a run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the sell-out renegade DIY gameshow returns to London Wonderground this September 4th, 18th and 25th.
Changing lives* one game at a time in a show with no rules and where everyone’s a winner, #MBGS is a one-stop-shop of an evening which will bring out the best and worst in us all with a host of prizes and variety acts – both occasionally of questionable quality – thrown in for good measure.
Londoners, a species predisposed to putting every ounce of effort in their body not to interact with one another on a daily basis, will throw off their shackles as they embark on a series of challenges (Shazam That Riff anyone? How about Porn I’ll Admit To? Or a round of Smash a Phone?) and enter into Miss Behave’s domain for the evening. And what a domain it is:
Somewhere between a Las Vegas Cabaret club (the dodgy end of the strip) and a Blackpool Pleasure Beach arcade that’s been held together with sellotape, this wild lovechild of Gameshow, Variety Show and Disco is carried to term by Miss Behave herself, delivered by glamorous assistant Harriet (YouTube sensation and ex-Butlins employee Harry Clayton-Wright) and is born singing, dancing and covered in glitter.
You know Miss Behave, star of Olivier Award Winning La Clique and La Soireé? The legendary alternative comedy hero? What about her from her sword swallowing escapades? Or you were in the crowd of 30,000 in Zurich? Or perhaps you were the audience member she nicked a joint off only to pass it onto an 80 year old lady and her grand-daughter who shared a puff?
Or maybe something else entirely… but you can be sure that she’s got the chops to entertain you. But this time around, the bright light of the disco ball will shine further afield as she recruits 600 co-stars – that’s you, the audience – to take control in this fast, feverish, frantic, frenetic, frenzied and just down right f***ing fun night of entertainment that will kick the dust off variety for good. Just don’t forget your phone.
*Miss Behave accepts no liability or responsibility for consequences of any actions taken on the basis of the show’s content including psychological distress, uncontrolled bouts of disco dancing, fall out and/or divorce and extreme outbursts of competitiveness that upsets friends/family/loved ones/ the general public
