Commenting about ‘Now You’re Here’, Dan Curtis said: ‘One of our biggest regrets was not including a duet on our album ‘Love on 42nd Street’ and we really wanted to put that right. We are delighted with the way this song has come together and working with Katie and Chris has been a real pleasure. They both have incredible voices which blend together beautifully and their energy and enthusiasm was infectious.”
Chris McCarrell is currently making his Broadway debut in Les Miserables in the role of Marius. Chris has also been seen in the highly successful Peter Pan LIVE on NBC.
Katie Rose Clarke took over the role of Glinda in Broadway’s Wicked in 2010, after performing the part for two years in the show’s national tour. Whilst still in college, she was tapped for her Broadway debut as Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza.
Daniel and Laura Curtis, whose last album ‘Love on 42nd Street’ featuring artists such as: Lea Salonga, Sierra Boggess, Samantha Barks, and Ramin Karimloo, topped the iTunes Vocal Chart and the Amazon Broadway Chart. The album was followed up by their chart topping singles: ‘When You Smile’ featuring Laura Osnes, ‘Find the Best of Me’ featuring Cheyenne Jackson, and ‘All Your Dreams’ featuring Lisa O’Hare.
