BalletBoyz, the internationally celebrated dance company, has opened applications for the fourth year of their hugely popular Dancer’s Course. Successful dancers will have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the young BalletBoyz company, becoming creative and employable dancers who represent the BalletBoyz ethos of excellence.
The application process offers men and women from all backgrounds across the UK the chance to apply for the course which is delivered over three 10 week-terms on Saturdays and Sundays. Working closely with the BalletBoyz dancers, successful applicants will be coached and mentored by some of the leading teachers and choreographers working in dance today. Brand new for 2016/17 is the inclusion of ATCL Level 4 Diploma in Performing Arts (Contemporary Dance) awarded by Trinity College London. The inclusion of the esteemed and widely recognised diploma will encourage students to be multi-skilled, reflective performers showing professional potential.

The students work incredibly hard, develop new skills and technique and the ATCL offers the opportunity to have this work recognised by the both the dance community and wider industry. The course presents an amazing opportunity for young male and female dancers to develop into professionals alongside industry leaders.”
Kendall Farrell, a Dancer’s Course student 2015/16 said: “I have had the chance to work with some fantastic choreographers and dance professionals that have provided and exciting and supportive environment. It’s given me the confidence to try anything and continue to experiment with movement.”
Application forms can be found here. There is a £15 audition fee which must be paid on submission of form. Anyone over 18 can apply. Auditions will take place on Sunday 10th April, the deadline to apply is Wednesday 23 March and successful candidates will be notified by 30th March 2016.
