Jord&Co. Productions’ eagerly awaited Workshop Programme has launched with an Acting Through Song Workshop with Nadim Naaman (Currently Raoul, in The Phantom Of The Opera). This will take place on 25th April 2016 at London Theatre Workshop’s new theatre in Leadenhall Market. The workshop will be accompanied by musical director Ben Ferguson.
Jord&Co’s Workshops run from 10:30 until 17:30, and will be limited to 15 participants; offering generous amounts of time for each participant to work on material brought to the workshop.
Tickets are also available to observe the workshop. Participants and observers may take part in a Q&A. The workshop programme will run throughout the year, giving actors the opportunity to work with leading theatre practitioners. Workshops will include Acting Through Song, Monologue Work, Improvisation, amongst other exciting days. The programme is sponsored by London Theatre Workshop.
Jord&Co. will be announcing their May and June workshops near the end of the month.
“We are very excited to be working with London Theatre Workshop, and with Nadim Naaman, to offer the first in a series of extensive workshops. I am most proud that these workshops can be offered as full days and be restricted to a low amount of participants, giving each person ample time to work on their material, without the need to rush on to the “The workshop itself will have a relaxing and supportive atmosphere. We’ve specifically called these days ‘workshops’, not ‘masterclasses’, as the purpose is to allow participants experiment in an environment they feel safe in, to try out new things. It’s like a little bubble where actors have permission make mistakes, learn from them, and ultimately, develop.” Jordan Li-Smith, Artistic Director
