Madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to Southampton. This revival is based on the 1962 off-Broadway version which was the first production of Anything Goes to incorporate several songs from other Porter shows: Take Me Back to Manhattan (The New Yorkers); It’s De-Lovely (Red Hot and Blue); and Let’s Misbehave (Paris) as well as favourites such as I Get a Kick out of You, You’re the Top, Blow Gabriel Blow and the title song Anything Goes.
Taking on the role of Reno Sweeney is TARYN ERICKSON who is making her UK musical debut at the Gatehouse. Recent graduate JACK MCCANN is playing Billy Crocker, with JACK KEANE and SAMANTHA DORSEY (Les Miserables) as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh and Hope Harcourt. Musical Theatre stalwarts DAVID PENDLEBURY (Phantom of the Opera, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Beauty and the Beast) and NOVA SKIPP (The Sound of Music, The Smallest Show on Earth) will play Moonface Martin and Mrs Wadsworth Harcourt. Also in the cast are TIMOTHY BOOTH, CHLOE ADELE EDWARDS, LUCAS JAMES, LEWIS MCBEAN, LUCIE HORSFALL and CHLOE PORTER.
