Quite Good Theatre’s Founder and Artistic Director Kai Wright said: “Six years ago, my stepmother, Sam, lost what was a lengthy and interminable battle with cancer. Without the support of Macmillan at this time, a situation that was already unthinkable would have been simply impossible. The support that they provided Sam, my dad and my siblings as a family from first diagnosis through to the end is something that I’ll never forget. The work they continue to do is nothing short of inspiring and I cannot thank them enough. With the help of some of my incredibly talented friends, I’m very much looking forward to being able to contribute something to this fantastic cause.”
Some People Singing will be at The Shaw Theatre for one night only on Sunday 14 May. Tickets are available from £15 plus booking fee.
