Due to phenomenal public demand, Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ’n’ roll, will be returning to The O2 in London with a new exhibition, Elvis On Tour, opening on 3rd November 2017. Tickets for this new 3-month retrospective will go on sale on 18th August.
Following the mammoth success of 2014/2015 Elvis at The O2 Exhibition, which was visited by over 200,000 people, Elvis On Tour, will showcase more than 200 artefacts from the Graceland archives in the UK for the very first time. Artefacts will include items from Elvis’s return to touring after his years in Hollywood. Specific items leaving Graceland for the first time in this unique exhibition include; over 35 jumpsuits and stage wear worn by Elvis between 1969 to 1977, guitars, microphones, tour trunks, concert posters, memorabilia and advertisements.
Elvis On Tour will chronicle how Elvis impacted popular culture around the world through his music, movies and personal style. Covering the years 1969 to 1977, the exhibition will feature many items that were seen in the 1972 documentary, Elvis On Tour.
