Katzpace is a new 50-seater theatre in the heart of London Bridge, found in the basement of Katzenjammers, a Bavarian Bierkeller, giving the space a quirkier take on pub theatre.
As a young actress herself, artistic director Bebe Barry, 21, is passionate about providing a platform for those who may not have the experience, funds or team to develop and showcase their work elsewhere. In doing so, it is the aim that this work may be seen by members of the industry, where it wouldn’t normally be possible. Katzpace believe in showcasing original and exciting work, whether it be new writing or a new adaptation of an existing piece of theatre.
The theatre officially opens on the 22nd October with “Pebbles;” an incredible piece of new writing by Bebe Sanders. This space-set play featuring two women explores the nature of loneliness and friendship, starring Bebe
Sanders herself and Charlotte Beaumont, best known for her role as Chloe Latimer on ‘Broadchurch.’ More information is available on our website, facebook, and twitter page.
