At the end of Ovalhouse’s 50th year, Young Londoners and a guest panel debate a vision for the next 50 years, with artists presenting their ideas through drama, spoken word and physical and digital art, at the Ovalhouse, Friday 20th December, 7.30pm.
What will the arts look like over the next half century? Who will the artists be? Who will art be for? Ovalhouse are appealing to young people across London to help shape a vision of the future.
Join the debate with a panel of top industry professionals from the arts and social sectors alongside young people from organisations across London, who will perform, discuss and debate the next 50 years of theatre and the arts. The event follows the success of August’s Youth Manifesto night, also at Ovalhouse.
Ovalhouse Creative Youth have sent a call out across London for young people to create a Manifesto for the Arts, and will be celebrating diverse opinions from Young Londoners. There will be a variety of artists presenting their vision for the future of arts using poetry, drama, spoken word, physical and digital art. This event follows the success of the Youth Manifesto Night in August. Join in the Arts Manifesto Launch and help us raise a glass to the next 50 years of innovative, cutting edge theatre.
