Description

Brighton Theatre Group presents Lionel Bart’s Oliver! live at Theatre Royal Brighton from Wednesday 14th February to Saturday 17th Feb 2024.

Lionel Bart’s much-loved family musical plays at Theatre Royal Brighton for one week only in February 2024! The Tony and Olivier award-winning musical, revered in London’s West End, on Broadway and around the world, is one of the few musicals to win an Academy Award for Best Picture.

Why go and see it?
Looking for a half-term family treat, you’d best pick a pocket or two to book your tickets to see this larger-than-life musical of Charles Dickens’ novel Oliver Twist.

Experience the life and death adventures of young orphan Oliver Twist who, through his education in the finer arts of pickpocketing, by none other than the Artful Dodger, finally pockets the greatest treasure of all – a home and a family of his own.

Set to a much loved and heartfelt score including such favourites as Consider Yourself, Where Is Love, You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two, As Long as He Needs Me, Oom-Pah-Pah, Reviewing The Situation, Food Glorious Food, Who Will Buy and many more, Oliver seeks A Fine Life!

Join Oliver as he journeys in search of love, belonging and honour among thieves.

Presented by local production house Brighton Theatre Group, who recently staged Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Shrek at Theatre Royal Brighton in 2019 and 2022 respectively.

Wed – Sat at 14:30
Wed – Sat at 19:30
