Chris McCausland is a British actor and comedian who is known for his work on the CBeebies show Me Too! and his stand-up comedy. He is blind due to retinitis pigmentosa, a hereditary condition that causes gradual vision loss.

McCausland was born in Liverpool in 1977 and studied software engineering at Kingston University. After graduating, he worked as a web developer and then in sales. He first performed stand-up comedy in 2003 and quickly became a regular on the comedy circuit. He has appeared on numerous TV shows, including Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, and The Last Leg.

In 2010, McCausland was cast as Rudi in the CBeebies show Me Too!. The show is about a group of children who learn about the world around them through the eyes of Rudi, who is blind. McCausland has said that he enjoys playing Rudi because it allows him to share his experiences of blindness with a younger audience.

McCausland is also a regular performer at comedy festivals around the UK. He has won several awards for his stand-up comedy, including the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer in 2007.

In 2022, McCausland hosted the Radio 4 series You Heard It Here First. The show is a comedy panel game that features comedians discussing news stories from the past week.
