Description

Revision on Tour: Macbeth live at Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent from Monday 4th March to Tuesday 5th March 2024.

Dickens Theatre Company present the Bard’s bloodiest tragedy! This fresh new adaptation of the ‘Scottish Play’ arrives at Torquay’s Princess Theatre in Spring 2024.

With the infamous Porter acting as narrator, an ensemble of 7 actors create a cauldron of characters, as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth make their perilous descent towards Hell.

Set against a back-drop of wars, witchery and treasonous plotting, Shakespeare’s ambitious Macbeth remains ominously relevant in the 21st Century.

If you are studying Macbeth at GCSE… it all starts with this show. A revelation for my English students.
– DARREN PACEY, ENGLISH TEAM LEADER, CROMPTON HOUSE SCHOOL
“What’s done cannot be undone!”

Dickens Theatre Company has been successfully staging classic English literature texts for the UK stage since 2015.

As part of DTC’s ‘Revision on Tour’ (alongside Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde & Romeo & Juliet), this Macbeth entertains and educates… to the bitter end.

Adapted & Directed by Ryan Philpott

Music by Paul Higgs
