Boeing-Boeing flies in to Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre

PLEASE have your Boarding Pass at the ready and make your way to the Departure Gate; Boeing-Boeing is ready for take-off!  Its destination: Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, arriving on Thursday, February 27th and remaining staying until Saturday, March 1st.

Meet Bernard, a successful architect living in Paris.  He thinks he can easily cope with juggling three air stewardess fiancées, successfully convincing each that she is the only one for him.

However when old school friend Robert arrives unexpectedly, a new faster Boeing jet is introduced and weather delays occur, Bernard, Robert and Bertha – the reliable, long-suffering housekeeper who never forgets to change the photographs – are forced to desperately try to keep the women separate.

The lies told become more and more difficult to reconcile as the trio improvise, at breathtaking speed in a near faultless piece of theatrical invention, with the inevitable, hilarious consequences.

This classic farce is penned by Marc Camoletti, the author of Don’t Dress for Dinner.  The cast includes Kim Tiddy, Zoie Kennedy, Ciara Janson, Anita Graham, Ben Roddy and Philip Stewart.

Chaos ensues in this hysterical whirl of mayhem and matchmaking: fasten your seatbelts and prepare for take-off.
