Borrowed Time at the Hen and Chickens Theatre

When Darren and Kathleen meet as grieving strangers on the tube, Darren finds that by giving her purpose to live, he manages to silence his own demons- but for how long?

Borrowed Time – Photographer Stallone Tandhoson

Playful, thought-provoking and compelling, Garth Oates’ (Chips and Cheese, Edinburgh Fringe) new play explores moments of grief and struggle, contrasted by laughter and witty silliness. This exploration of a blossoming friendship shows us the power that connection can have on a person plagued by loneliness and feeling insignificant in modern London. Darren supports Kathleen through a year of heartbreak and stress, but do all guardian angels leave when their duty is done?
Borrowed Time is BACK on the wonderfully intimate Hen and Chickens Theatre stage after a SOLD OUT run at The Camden Fringe Festival.

Be prepared for delicate naturalistic scenes and witty, razor-sharp humour to have the audience giggling and solemnly reflecting in simultaneous harmony.
