Churchill Theatre Bromley is alive with The Sound of Music!

The Sound of MusicChurchill Theatre, Bromley, have had a long standing relationship with Bill Kenwright Limited, and have had launched many successful co-productions and tours here. From Dreamboats and Petticoats starring Ben Freeman, to the terrific musical Cabaret staring chart topper Will Young and ex-Eastender Michelle Ryan.

Over the years, Bill Kenwight Limited has bought successful shows such as Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee starring Jason Durr, this quality production was hugely popular with our audience and brought in large crowds at all performances.
Whether it is a play or musical, Bill Kenwright Limited create wonderful touring productions of high quality, with superb casts of talented up and comers and established stars.

Due to the triumph of these past productions, the Churchill Theatre have announced that eminent producer Bill Kenwright now brings the premiere of a brand new productions of one of the greatest musicals of all time; The Sound of Music.

The Rogers and Hammerstein time-honoured The Sound of Music will star Over the Rainbow winner Danielle Hope fresh from a stint as Eponine in Les Miserables and Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat as the heart of the Von Trapp family Maria, and London’s Burning star Steven Houghton as family patriarch Captain Von Trapp, Steven joins the cast after spending time in Oliver, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Blood Brothers and Miss Saigon.
