Little Goblin Productions present The Witch at Lord Stanley

The Witch at The Lord StanleyThe Little Goblin Productions present The Witch, a bawdy dark comedy written by Thomas Middleton.

The Witch is described as a ‘bawdy dark comedy’, offering a different take on witchcraft from that depicted in Macbeth. In The Witch, witches are the problem solvers people go to, and although very powerful are not evil and not to be frightened of.

The Witch has love, lust, adultery and betrayal, some of the fun things at Christmas! Husbands want to cheat on wives, wives to cheat on husbands, and lost loves to get back together again. All of these visit the witch to gain charms and spells to make their schemes come to reality. However the witch seems to have her own agenda.

Why not go along and see the mayhem unfold?

CAST: Clive Alexander, Sarah Breen, Tuula Costelloe, Penelope Day, Joseph Emms, James Furlong, Edward Haines, Charlotte Mack, David O’Connor, Emma Richardson, Stefan Stuart, Mengu Turk.
