Local children to take centre stage in auditions for Peter Pan

Peter Pan BromleyOn Sunday 16th October 2016 at 10.00am the Churchill Theatre at Bromley will host open auditions for the children’s roles of John and Michael Darling in this year’s magical pantomime adventure Peter Pan, which sees Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood leading the cast as Captain Hook.

The roles available are Michael (Maximum Height: 4’6”) and John (Maximum Height: 4’8”) and both roles are to be played by boys who live in the local area. For the audition boys should prepare a monologue, poem or rhyme to present and be prepared to read a short excerpt from the script.

Parents can book an audition place using their child’s name online at churchilltheatre.co.uk, over the phone on 020 3285 6000 or in person at the Box Office. No alternative audition dates are available. Audition places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year, Bromley’s pantomime is produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer which has established a reputation for staging large scale productions packed with special effects and lots of laugh out loud comedy for all the family. Qdos Entertainment has 649 productions to its credit spanning 34 years and the company’s pantomimes are seen by over 1.5 million people each season. A total cast of 700 actors, dancers, musicians, stage staff and creative personnel work on Qdos pantomimes every year.

Peter Pan opens on Friday 9th December 2016 and runs until Saturday 7th January 2017.
