Marion Deprez is Gorgeous at The Vaults

After sell-out shows in Brighton, Marion Deprez is Gorgeous is coming to The Vaults Mimetic Festival for its London debut.

A fearless new one-woman show that fuses cabaret, physical comedy and clown, Deprez’s comical character presents an absurd interrogation of what it is to be beautiful- and what it takes to be funny. Evocative and provocative Deprez’s glamorous demeanour and superficial wit collide with her ironic and devastatingly potent take on the apparent limitations of having a pretty face.

Trained as a clown, Deprez revels in demolishing her fabulous façade, pokes fun at being the “ideal woman” and takes no hostages when it comes to singling out unsuspecting members of the crowd.

A serial solo performer, director and deviser, Deprez has teamed up with BD Productions to create her latest one woman show, supported by Marlborough Theatre, Brighton. Deprez’s accolades include her position as assistant director for Tamasha’s production, Lyrical MC, her performance roles as part of the award-winning Karavan Ensemble and her highly acclaimed Bus Show- a comedic tour of Brighton’s best bits, on a moving bus!
