Brodie Donougher’s first performance today as Billy Elliot

Brodie Donougher (Billy Elliot) in Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

Today, 19th November 2014, eleven year-old Brodie Donougher from Blackpool, gives his first performance in the title role of the internationally award winning Billy Elliot the Musical - and becomes the 39th boy to play the role. Brodie joins a cast led by Ruthie Henshall who plays Mrs Wilkinson, Billy’s dance teacher and Deka Walmsley who plays Billy’s dad. Robert Webb re-joins the cast of the Olivier award-winning comedy Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense on tour from February to April 2015 following his West End prior run earlier this year. Jason Thorpe will play Jeeves and the role of Seppings will be played by Christopher Ryan from February to June 2015. David Calder joins the West End cast of The Nether to play Doyle, at the Duke of York’s Theatre with Previews from 30th January 2015 and opening on 23rd February 2015.
