Silent film icon returns to London!

When You Fall DownWhen You Fall Down, the award-winning musical about movie star Buster Keaton, returns to London’s Tabard Theatre on Sun 18th and Monday 19th November 2018.

Through slapstick, songs and soft shoe shuffle, When You Fall Down follows Buster’s triumphs and trials as he makes his iconic movies. With his marriage failing, his best friend on trial, his career in danger and turning to the bottle, Buster must hit his mark as he films his most dangerous ever stunt.

With mime, magic and re-creations of Buster’s comic routines, this show is a tribute to “The Great Stone Face”; a man who always got back on his feet, no matter how many times he fell down.

The show first appeared at the Tabard in April, playing to full houses. Since then it has travelled to Paris, around the UK and even appeared in the West End. A 5-star success at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, where it played to sell-out audiences, the show won a prestigious ThreeWeeks Editors’ Choice Award and was nominated for
Best Musical.

When You Fall Down premiered last year in the USA, where it was watched Buster’s own family. Written and performed by James Dangerfield, the show is endorsed by The International Buster Keaton Society.

The show starts at 7.30pm. For tickets, call 0208 995 6035 or visit tabardtheatre.co.uk.
