The Waiting Room at Leicester Square Theatre

The Waiting RoomHarriet and Paul meet in the waiting room of a hospital. A chance encounter or so it seems. As the conversation flows, they realise they may have more in common than they thought, and that this meeting was no coincidence.

This is an exciting revival of John Bowen’s rarely performed one act play. It will be directed by two time Offie nominee Jenny Eastop whose credits include Blithe Spirit (Gielgud Theatre/US tour), Warde Street (Park theatre) and Chekhov’s Vaudevilles (Jermyn Street Theatre).

Harriet is played by Beth Eyre who recently appeared in The Massacre at Paris at the Rose Playhouse, directed by James Wallace. Other credits include Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival) and Gut Girls (Brockley Jack). Paul will be
played by Mark Rush whose recent credits include Woyzeck (UK Tour), Napoleon Blown Apart (Arcola Theatre) and Macbeth (Wyrd Sister Theatre).
