Richmond Theatre sits on The Green in Richmond upon Thames, south-west London — one of the finest surviving theatres designed by the celebrated Victorian architect Frank Matcham. The Grade II-listed venue opened in 1899 as the Theatre Royal and Opera House, was sensitively refurbished in 1991, and is today owned and operated by ATG Entertainment (Ambassador Theatre Group).
