This important Grade II listed building in Brighton is one of the oldest working theatres in the country with an exquisite example of a regency auditorium.
At the start of the 21st century, the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), purchased the venue in Brighton. The company has invested in the infrastructure of the building and high-quality productions. The organisation has exciting creative alliances with Rambert Dance Company, English Touring Theatre Company and Brighton Festival. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company and the National Theatre have opened prestigious regional tours and in the last decade, the theatre has opened a record number of productions to tour and en route for the West End.
The auditorium includes, The Stalls, Royal Circle, Second Circle and Gallery.

Access Parking: There is space for up to 4 blue badge vehicles outside Polpo on New Road

Access toilets: There is a unisex wheelchair-accessible toilet in the Stalls bar on the ground floor
Level access to the theatre: Through the Box Office on New Road. Please contact the Access line on 0800 912 6971 (Mon-Sat 09:00 to 22:00, Sun 10:00 to 20:00) for specific information.
There are four wheelchair spaces available in the stalls, these are H1, O1, Q4, & Q5. These seats will not appear available online, please call or come into our Box Office to enquire about availability.
Theatre Royal Brighton is equipped with a Sennheiser infra-red sound amplification system. To access the infra-red systems please request receiving equipment from the kiosk situated in the main foyer. Please be sure to request a compatible seat when booking your tickets, as only selected seats work within the infra-red area
Equipment available: Headset. This device amplifies sound through earpieces similar to regular headphones. Suitable for persons without a hearing aid or some hearing aid devices that are able to accommodate a headset over them.
The first counter of the box office is fitted with an induction system for people who are hard of hearing.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
