Peter Pan London Park Theatre

Peter Pan at Park TheatreAlexander Vlahos (BBC’s Versailles & Merlin) has been confirmed to star as Captain Hook in a revival of the original 1904 Peter Pan play by J.M. Barrie. The production will also be the first Park Theatre production ever to feature flying effects. Co-starring Nickcolia King-N’Da as Peter Pan and directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, the renowned family favourite from Neverland promises to sprinkle a little fairy dust over London this Christmas.

Continuing J.M. Barrie’s love and support of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, 5% of all royalties from this production will go directly to Great Ormond Street. The official press night will be Friday 7th December, 7pm.

In 1904, J.M. Barrie premiered one of the greatest adventures to ever play on a theatrical stage. Filled with mermaids, pirates and fairies, lost boys and crocodiles, this is the stunning original story of the boy who could fly.

His television credits include: Versailles (Canal+), Merlin (Shine/ BBC), Genius (National Geographic), Barbarians Rising (History), Privates (BBC), Indian Doctor (BBC), Pentalar (S4C), The Tower (Uzong Films) and Crash (BBC Wales). His theatre credits include: Richard III/Romeo & Juliet (Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre, York), La Ronde (The Bunker), Fortune’s Fool (Old Vic), Macbeth (Park Avenue Armory, New York & Manchester International Festival), Britannicus (Wilton’s Music Hall), The Ashes (Latitude Festival), Present: Tense (Nabokov Theatre), Emperor And Galilean (National Theatre), Hamlet (Sheffield Crucible), Cardiff Assembly (National Theatre Wales) and Elsinore (Volcano).

Nickcolia King-N’Da will star as Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn’t grow up. Nickcolia trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His theatre credits include: See Me For Myself (Tabard Theatre), Astley’s Astounding Adventures (New Vic Theatre), Aladdin (The Riverfront Theatre), King Lear (Orange Tree Theatre) and The Tempest (Young Shakespeare Company).

The cast will also include Rosemary Boyle as Wendy (Of Mice and Men, UK Tour), Adam Buchanan as Michael (As You Like It, Theatre by the Lake), Natalie Grady as Mrs Darling & Smee (This House, National Theatre), Jason Kajdi as John (Our House, UK Tour), and Harveen Mann (Bend it like Beckham, West End) & Alfie Webster (Our Four Walls, Ovalhouse) in the ensemble.
