Countdown to BluesFest 2014 at the Royal Albert Hall

Taking place at The Royal Albert Hall from October 26th to 31st, BluesFest 2014 will see a dazzling array of international stars from the worlds of blues, soul and jazz descend on London for six days of incredible music.

Alongside the headline concerts in the main auditorium each evening, which will feature a range of huge names from around the world including Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Gregory Porter and Sheryl Crow, the festival has also scheduled a full programme of daytime activity, which will see performances from some of the best blues acts in the business including Georgie Fame, Andy Fairweather Low, Mud Morganfield, Si Cranstoun and Nell Bryden.

Taking place during school half-term, the daytime programme will appeal to families, while providing young people with a unique introduction to the blues. And for all the daytime events, admission is only £20 per day and kids go free!

Leo Green – Festival Director: “Since its inception in 2011, BluesFest has grown year on year to the point where we’re now programming over 40 acts and expecting to welcome 30,000 music fans across the week.
