Gavin Shuman is Churchill Theatre’s new General Manager

Gavin ShumanChurchill Theatre Bromley have announced their newly appointed General Manager, Gavin Shuman.

Gavin has worked for ATG since Oct ober 2010 when he joined as box office manager of the New Victoria Theatre in Woking. 6 months after joining ATG he was lucky enough to be successful in his application and moved into the Deputy General Manager position at Woking.

For the past 2 years, he has been in the General Manager position at the New Wimbledon Theatre, managing a venue that is 102 years old and holds 1640 people.

Before that he spent 5 years as cinema manager for Vue Cinemas, where he not only had the chance to work at the Leicester square site and manage numerous premiers he also oversaw the opening of a number of sites around the country including Westfield Shepherd’s Bush. Prior to that he worked at Thorpe park helping manage its transformation into the thrill park it is today.

Gavin said: ”I am exited to have been given the opportunity to lead the highly skilled and dedicated team at The Churchill Theatre Bromley. The Churchill has a diverse mix of high quality shows which are attended by a loyal and dedicated audience.
