TEDxRoyalCentralSchool : Re:Act 27th October 2018

TEDxRoyalCentralSchool : Re:ActBringing together a stellar line-up of speakers from a range of disciplines, TEDxRoyalCentralSchool is set to open the doors of one of the country’s top drama schools for a day of exploration, inquisition and, most importantly, ideas. Taking place on Saturday 27th October in the Embassy Theatre, this community-led initiative will explore ideas worth sharing from a small and specialised conservatoire. It’s time to Re:ACT.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

Speakers this year include Leah Cowan, Politics Editor for gal-dem, a magazine written by women and non-binary people of colour, Dr Selina Busby, recent winner of the National Teaching Fellowship, as well as leading clinical psychologist and expert on Channel 4’s The Secret Life of 4, 5 and 6 Year Olds, Dr Elizabeth Kilbey. Full list of speakers can be found on the Eventbrite site.
