YVE BLAKE: LIE COLLECTOR VAULT Festival London

Yve BlakeFrom fake pregnancies, a buried television and claims to leprechaun ancestry, we all have our stories. LIE COLLECTOR is a glorious musical celebration of the confessions you’ve been desperate to share.

Yve Blake collects stories from strangers in the internet and right up in the face. Why? To turn these stories into music. And costumes. And DANCE BREAKS!

Anyone in the world can send her a story to her interactive website WhoWereWe.com to inspire the show, so that includes you. So far over 1000 people in 154 cities have.

In Yve’s sold-out show ‘THEN’ (VAULT 2014, Battersea Arts Centre, Soho Theatre) You were “stunning” (A Younger Theatre), “completely absorbing” (Everything Theatre) and “Brilliant” (The New Current). Now Yve Blake returns to VAULT Festival and you are going to be “unbelievable”, because this time she’s asked you for LIES LIES LIES.

With ‘Sheer ingenuity’ (TimeOut) Blake brings you the worst LIES you ever kept. Until you told her. And she wrote a song about it. *all lies are 100 percent yours and Yve Rainbowshark Blake is not even her real name.
